2022 is off to a busy start! Director of Public Works, Chuck Aukland, discusses the major growth that can be expected in Redding this year on the latest episode of The City of Redding Podcast.
With the new Costco development getting underway in the next month, South Bonnyview and Bechelli Lane will be widened to accommodate traffic. The City of Redding will be upgrading the I-5 offramps, in addition to creating a roundabout and a bike lane on Bechelli Lane, all of which will increase accessibility in the area.
2022’s growth isn’t just happening on land. It’s happening in the sky, too! Not only is there potential for a new flight service from the Redding Airport to Denver waiting in the wings, but runway improvements and upgrades to the terminal and security checkpoint are also on the horizon.
