Discussion in this week's City Council Meeting included new Redding Municipal Airport rental car contracts and a number of traffic safety improvements. These included intersection safety lighting projects around the City, a Turtle Bay Transportation Gap project and a Hartnell Avenue shared use path project.
Additionally a new Solid Waste organics vehicle purchase was approved to coincide with new organics legislation coming in 2022 and key Stillwater Business Park infrastructure projects were discussed.
Additional topics in this lengthy meeting also included new electric vehicle charging station plans and upcoming community engagement around the reactivation of South City Park.
