Two hot topics were discussed at the September 21, 2021 Redding City Council meeting, along with several other notable items. The Shasta EDC gave an update on current activities and accomplishments, Janelle Galbraith, the new Economic Development, Innovation, and Equity Manager gave a presentation, and REU updated the Council on celebrating 100 years.
The big topics of the night were American Rescue Plan Act money and the proposal for the redevelopment of the parcels of land where the Redding Civic Auditorium and the Redding Rodeo grounds currently sit.
